You’re probably aware that our Stu Taylor loves a good challenge.
As if completing the seriously tough Highland Trail 550 in just four days wasn’t enough for him this summer, he also took on the incredibly challenging French Divide 2018.
If you haven’t heard of the French Divide before, it’s an ultra ‘bikepacking’ adventure, in which participants cycle 2,275 kilometres in 15 days maximum (with no assistance) on the MTB roads of France, following part of the route of St Jacques de Compostelle.
Stu managed to complete it in 11 days and 19 hours – finishing in 16th place out of 138!
Stu’s epic challenges this summer have all been in aid of a phenomenal cause, raising money for Leeds Cancer Centre Charity in memory of his good friend, Steven Hopley, who sadly passed away recently.
His original fundraising target was £1,000 and we are delighted to announce the final total, which is £3,042.
